Pattern notes:
This squishy, textured cowl is worked in the round. There are two sizes available, a short single loop, and a longer loop that can be doubled for extra warmth. Minimal purling is involved in this cowl! The only purling is in the ribbing. After each 4-row section, the work is turned, and the German short row method is used to prevent a hole from forming at the turning place. It’s possible to make the cowl taller if desired, but more yarn will be required.

Yarn:
Aran weight: 180 (350) yards.

Needles:
US 9 / 5.5 mm - 40 cm (80 cm) long circular needle.

Notions:
1 stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Sizing:
Single Loop (Double Loop).

Circumference:
24 (47) inches / 61 (119.5) cm.

Height:
Approximately 8 inches / 20.5 cm, unstretched.

Gauge:
16 sts & 24 rows per 4 inch / 10 cm square in stockinette stitch in the round.
Adjust needle size if necessary, to get correct gauge.
