Possum
Whether you call him a Possum or an Opossum, there’s no denying that this little marsupial is absolutely adorable!
Materials needed to make your own otter:
. Worsted weight yarn: medium grey, pink/mauve, white (I used Bernat Super Value in White, True Grey and Peony Pink)
. 9mm safety eyes
. 3mm crochet hook
. Fiberfill
. Tapestry needle, straight pins, scissors
Finished doll measures about 6” long and 4” tall. Gauge is not important to this pattern. Size will vary depending on the size of your chosen yarn and hook.
The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc.
