Posy baby blanket
Simple cables create little posies of texture across this chunky blanket. The cables only use two sts, so you can work them without a cable needle if you prefer, and the blanket is worked all in one.
I used Stylecraft Special Chunky, working to 14 sts and 20 rows to 10cm/4”, in the quantities below:
Extra Small: 55 x 55 cm (22 x 22“) - 300g (474 yards/432m)
Small: 68 x 75 cm (26 x 29”) - 400g (632 yards/576m)
Medium: 81 x 85 cm (31 x 33”) - 500g (790 yards/720m)
Large: 95 x 95 cm (37 x 37”) - 600g (948 yards/864m)
If you use a different yarn please check the tension and yardage carefully.
You will also need 6mm needles (circular for the larger sizes), a cable needle (although you can drop a stitch, work the 2nd stitch and then pick up the dropped stitch if you prefer), and a tapestry needle to weave in the ends of yarn.
