This Pot Holder uses the basic stitches.
The Pot Holder is about 8 inches in diameter, but of course the size will depend on the types of yarn, size of crochet hook and how loose or tight you crochet.
You can use Cotton yarn, or other types of yarn good to use for Pot Holders.
