Introducing the 2022 Pot Holders Galore Crochet-a-long.
This crochet-along ran for 6 weeks, but has ended. However, the patterns are still available for free on my blog with ads, as a video tutorial on Youtube, and as ad-free printable paid PDF here on Ravelry.
And you are welcome to post in the Facebook Crochet-along group at any time!
This is an annual crochet-along, so we have now started the 2024 Potholders Galore Crochet-along, which runs from July 10 - December 11, 2024. You can learn more about it here!

Sizes: The pot holders range from 6” - 7.5” in length and width, and will be specified in each pattern.
Hook size: 4.0 mm.
Gauge: Changes depending on what pattern we are working on. Therefore, a gauge will be included with each specific pattern.
Additional Materials:
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Stitch Marker or Safety Pin
Yarn:
* All pot holders are crocheted with Knit Picks Dishie Cotton Yarn.
You can use any soft and flexible Medium 4 Worsted / Aran weight cotton yarn.
-
If you only have DK Weight 3 yarn on hand, then you can crochet with 2 strands held together to create a weight 4 thickness.
-
Acrylic or other fibers are not recommended for these pot holders because they will burn/melt under excessive heat. 100% cotton is the safest material to use for pot holders.
