These are events explained by the “Uruz” rune. The person with whom this rune corresponds displays the traits of freedom, energy, action, courage, strength, tenacity, understanding and wisdom. In other words a hero in its truest form. Who else could this be but Harry Potter? He emerged from the ashes of a lonely, damaging youth much like the phoenix who loved him. Never losing the ability to trust. Never losing the desire to help others. Never losing the ability to love, nor to do so fiercely with his entire soul. No matter what the cost he was willing to pay it, even when those he was helping wanted none of it. The Uruz rune is predominantly featured on these socks, while a reversible diagonal stitch pays tribute to Harry’s infamous scar and homage to the fact that he was a hero inside and out.”
