100 to 130 yards of wool depending if you need the larger hat or make any other adjustments. It is ALWAYS better to have too much yarn than too little. Please use US Size 5 Circular and Double Pointed Needles.

The penguin is knit from scrap yarn of black, red and cream. Of course you can alter those colors, but I would keep the black for the body of the penguin.
