This is a pattern for a knit pouch to hold Tarot Cards. The pattern starts and ends with crochet to make the pouch stronger and to better support the contents when in use. I have been making these for more than a year and am posting the pattern as several friends have asked how to make them.

Use any size and/or weight of yarn, I use dk weight or smaller for most items. Usually it is better to use smaller needles than that suggested with the yarn as a tighter pouch will be more effective. The sample is done in bulky weight to show the method better.

Three versions of the pattern are available:
Short Version - contains only the necessary instructions
Pattern - contains all instructions plus pictures of the techniques for changing from crochet to knit and back to crochet
Photo Version - contains pictures for each step of the process
