Poupons is a regionally specific term for knit or crochet slippers worn by those of French Canadian descent in the Eastern Connecticut region. The original items and their patterns have been lost time time, but I wanted to make something warm and cozy in their honor. This pattern only comes in one size, but the pattern has a good amount of stretch to accommodate many feet sizes.
