Pourmoi
pourmoi long cardigan
This super easy cardigan is knit in one piece from the bottom up. Choose to knit yours without seams or with one shoulder / top of sleeve seam (if you are like me and don’t love knitting sleeves in the round). There is no shaping at the sides, armholes or neck, only at the shoulders. The vertical ribbed band is knit directly onto the body.
The story The past few years have been busy ones for me and challenging for all of us. I managed to sneak in some knitting for myself, some selfish knitting. I needed to indulge in designing what I wanted to be wearing and what I wanted to be knitting. I have lived in this cardigan for the past 3 or 4 winters, snugged in its folds as if it were a bathrobe, while still feeling well dressed wearing it out in public.
