Poveira is a simple collared cowl knitted bottom-up in garter stitch. The collar is worked with shortened rows adding a soft curvature in the back for extra comfort. It knits up quickly being perfect for last minute gifts. An instant gratification project that produces a great effect easily.

Pattern Style: Full written instructions are given.
Pattern Difficulty: Advanced beginner – Long tail cast on, knit, slip st, yarn over, k2tog, short rows (I followed a very easy method explained in the pattern with a link to a video - it’s Priscilla Wild method), Bind-off, sew buttons and snap fasteners.
Format Available: PDF
Size: One size fits most - as shown has 85 cm long by 29 cm wide (unfolded). Pattern can be worked with a different yarn being easily adjustable by casting on more/less sts and by and working a different number of rows.
Tools needed: tapestry needle, 4 buttons, 2 snap fasteners
