Powder Blue
This charming cap-sleeved, swingy cardigan is the perfect timeless piece to add to any little girl’s summertime wardrobe, or as an extra layer in the Fall. Lovely over a crisp white dress, it is also comfortable enough to be paired with everyday play clothes.
The cables and seed stitch create a sophisticated, rich texture that is designed to showcase yarns with great stitch definition.
Construction:
This cardigan is knit seamlessly from the top down. Stitches for the cap sleeves are bound off, then the fronts and back of the cardigan are worked flat, then joined again and worked in one piece to the hemline. A simple cable pattern follows the raglan lines and continues into the body, gradually flaring out. The button bands are worked as you go.

casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, working a simple cable pattern (written instructions) binding off.
