The Powderhorn Cowl is a hip design with a fun pattern that naturally pulls together for a slouchy, slinky like feel!

The cowl is 56 inches from end to end (one end tucks into the other by about 2.5 inches for an infinity wrap) and is 5.5 inches wide. The cowl is worked in the round to form a tube (sort of like a leg warmer!) for extra warmth and style (the right-side is always out!) Once you have a long tube, you join the ends together with buttons to form an infinity cowl.

As shown, the cowl wraps twice around your neck. For a less dramatic look, it may be made with only one wrap around your neck. This would use approximately 170 yards of bulky weight yarn.
