Top Down Yoked Sweater

This sweater was designed to represent the yearly burning of Kansas fields on early spring evenings. The fire casts a bright line stretching across the flat landscape, separating the black foreground from the deepening blue of the night sky.

Materials
Yarn: Cascade 220, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool or other worsted weight yarn. For (child/adult/large adult) sizes: (2/3/4) skeins black 8555, 1 skein each midnight 9543, navy 8393, burgundy 2401, butter cup 9496, Provence 2425, and Japanese maple 2435

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular, length 20-40 in (50-100 cm) depending on size
