Prairie Girl Crescent Shawl
Yarn: Worsted weight (samples were worked in 100% superwash merino; 218 yd/100 g)
– Scarf: 1 skein MC and 1 skein CC
– Shawlette: 2 skeins MC and 1 skein CC
– Shawl: 3 skeins MC and 1 skein CC
Gauge: Gauge is not important for this pattern
Needle: Circular Needles—US 10 (6 mm) with cable at least 30” long
Notions: Yarn needle (for weaving in ends); Two stitch markers
Measurements: 32” x 13” — 45” x 16” (depending upon which size is chosen); Choose from Scarf, Shawlette, and Shawl sizing
Shaping: This top-down crescent pattern is worked with top down in a crescent shape with rapid increases on every row. The final shaping will be achieved through blocking.
