Prairie Road Trip is a Chunky weight cabled hat that can be knit in a matter of hours! The perfect road trip project, whether you’re travelling through the Prairies, or not.

Yarn Used:

• This pattern calls for a Chunky weight yarn. For my sample I used Malabrigo Chunky in ‘Periwinkle’

Yardage Requirements:

• Baby - 77 yards

• Toddler - 86 yards

• Child - 95 yards

• Adult - 105 yards

• Adult XL - 120 yards

Needles:

• 6.00mm and 6.50mm needles on a 16” cord and 6.50mm DPN’s, or needles on a 40” cord for Magic Loop

Gauge:

• 16 sts and 20 rows / 4”

Sizes (w/ Head Circumference):

• Baby(17”)Toddler(19”), Child(21”), Adult(23”), Adult XL(25”)

Additional Materials Needed:

• at least 1 Stitch Marker for BOR, or more if you like to section out all of your repeats

• Cable Needle

• Scissors

• Darning Needle
