Prairie Sky
“The Prairie Sky / is wide and high / Deep in the Heart of Texas”
(Don’t forget to clap your hands as you sing along!)
Inspired by the random high clouds I see drifting overhead on a summer day in the Blackland Prairie of North Texas. This is a companion to The Stars at Night.
This simple shawl is mostly garter stitch, worked from the center out, starting with a provisional cast on.
Skill Level: advanced beginner - requires double yo and provisional CO
Sample shown in: Chicken Coop Dyeworks Thistle Lace (100% BFL; 875 yd/100g) in “Texas Sky”, 1 skein
