This is a pattern for both an Estonian shawl, that measures 24 inches x 74 inches.

This very lacy scarf/shawl is composed of three distinct Estonian stitches that blend together in a gorgeous shawl. If you would like to try your hand at an “heirloom-to-be” Estonian lace weight shawl, this is the one to start with. It couldn’t be more beautiful, and gives you experience with several of the Estonian stitches.

If you have never done nupps before, there are two types of instructions contained within the pattern.

Both stitches are charted and written out line by line.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).
