Prayer coins can be used by themselves, as a token for someone in your thoughts and prayers, or in support of a prayer shawl ministry.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry at my church+ participates in our local AIDS Walk and Susan G. Komen walk - we like to have something to share with people visiting our booth for some prayer.

I like using crochet cotton for the sheen and texture. They can be made with any weight or kind of fiber, just use a hook that gets a firm fabric and keep in mind, your yardage may vary.
