I’m super excited to released this new Knitted baby blanket pattern. I’ve been making variations of this for nearly 15 years. I finally decided to write it down and share it.

All you need to make this pattern is 5.5mm needles (circular is always easier when making blankets if you have them) and a single 500g ball of women’s institute super soft aran yarn from Hobbycraft.

You can use any yarn or size needle you like. I made a blanket out of double knit scraps. I also made a beautiful rainbow version using 4 balls of James C Brett Part time yarn. You can use any yarn needles to suit your preference but this will alter the size of your blanket.

This is a very easy pattern to follow and only uses knit and ourl stiches so is beginner level friendly.
