The Panda bear is one of China’s most cherished creatures and this cute doll is an ideal gift for any panda lovers, young or old. The panda is an easy pattern that is great for those wanting to take their basic crochet skills to the next level.

This crochet pattern includes easy to follow instructions on how to make the panda bear and will teach you how to join legs as you go. A diagram with detailed steps are included to help you with this technique.

Gauge is not important for this pattern. I have listed some yarns that you can use above, but feel free to choose whatever yarn you like. If you use a heavier or lighter weight yarn, keep in mind that this will change the size of your finished product. With a 4.5mm hook and 8 ply yarn, the panda measures approximately 28 cm (11 inches) height.
