Precipitation Scarf
This is a beaded asymmetrical scarf with a clear pattern repeat, worked sideways. The pattern is fully charted with a complete stitch count for each row given on the charts.
The pattern is written in US terminology and uses the following stitches:
Chain
Slip stitch
Single crochet
Half double crochet
Single crochet decrease (single crochet two together)
Half double crochet decrease (half double crochet two together)
The pattern uses 101 beads. I used 4mm glass pearl beads, but 6mm beads would work just as well. I used 5 different colours of beads in the following quantities:
Raspberry - 28
Teal - 19
Grey - 15
Light blue - 18
Lime green - 21
I used one skein of hand dyed sock weight 100% merino yarn in colourway Inara from Third Vault Yarns (www.facebook.com/thirdvaultyarns) to make this pattern, but any sock, fingering, sport weight or 4ply yarn would also be fine.
I believe this pattern is suitable for confident beginners, but if you do have any questions at all, please just message me either through Ravelry or at www.facebook.com/ditsypips and I would be very happy to help.
Please note, this pattern and associated photographs are the copyright of Ditsy Pips. You may not share, sell, copy, reproduce or distribute the whole or any part of this pattern without permission from Ditsy Pips.
You are very welcome to sell anything you make using this pattern, all I would ask is that you please credit Ditsy Pips for the pattern when you are listing your item for sale.
