I have been asked to design gnome hats for preemie and tiny babies.Here is a knitting pattern for 2 designs, one in stocking stitch and the other in garter stitch.Due to the delicacy of such babies the design has to be very simple and the yarn very light and soft.
I chose Sirdar Snuggly but you can use any other similar dk yarn of your choice.
These tiny little gnome hats knit up extremely quickly and use only a small amount of yarn, so are ideal for using up leftovers.
This knitting pattern provides full instructions for 3 tiny babies sizes, S, M & L which covers any baby with a head circumference between 10-16 inches.
