This is a pattern I designed some time ago. I used less than 1 ball of yarn to make a blanket.

Materials needed:
4mm hook
stitch markers
darning needle
scissors

Only simple terms used in the pattern. There are two downloads available, US Terms and UK terms.

US Terms: Chain(ch), Single crochet(sc), Double crochet(dc), Standing Double(st dc), Half Double(hdc), Stitch/Stitches(st/sts), Slip Stitch(sl st)

UK Terms: Chain(ch), Double crochet (dc), Treble crochet (tr), Standing Treble(st tr), Half Treble(htr), Stitch/Stitches(st/sts), Slip Stitch(sl st)
