Preemie Hat number 1 was knitted by one of my students. I use to volunteer as a knitting teacher in my local church and knit preemie hats for the local hospital (OSU). Over the years we donated not only hats, that keep preemie babies body heat, but also blankets, sweaters and booties.
I added 4 of them in a picture on Instagram (Andrea Wong Knits) and asked you to vote for your favorite one. This is the winner, so you get the pattern for free. Eventually I will add the other 3 as well.
I hope you enjoy and knit many hats for many of the preemies that are born around you. If you do not have a local hospital to donate, please contact me and I will personally donate them.
