Small/ Medium/ Large Premature Baby Wrap Over Cardigan

This little wrap over cardigan is a quick and easy knit.

Sizes included are Small Preemie, Medium Preemie, Large Preemie (2lbs ~ 4lbs ~ 6lbs).

Each size includes instructions to knit a wrap over cardigan with either a star or heart motif, as well a plain wrap over cardigan. Row by row written instruction makes it the ideal project for new knitters and a relaxing knit for those more experienced.

This cardigan pattern is knitted from the bottom up starting with the right hand side as worn and seamlessly creates the sleeves. The left hand side is then knitted and joined to the right side at the shoulder/ back neck. The underarm and body side seam will be sewn up using a back stitch.

This project uses 4mm single pointed needles and baby double knit yarn.
When knitting the smallest preemie size you will need approximately 30gm of wool-
When knitting the medium preemie size you will need approximately 40gm of wool-
When knitting the large preemie size you will need approximately 50gm of wool-

This pattern is perfect for charity knitting.

Stocking Stitch: 22 sts = 10cms/4 inches. 28 rows = 10cms/ 4 inches.
