Bonding squares are used to help preemies bond with the parents. Parents will wear the square on their body to have it absorb their scent. Then the square is placed with the little one and swapped after 12 hours or so.
They are usually made in pairs.

You will need to know how to crochet in back loop only

If you want to add the flower, you will need to know how to make a magic ring.

I used Stylecraft special dk acrylic, but any other yarn and matching hook can work.
Check local regulations if acrylic can be used. Cotton can be preferred
