This shirt was designed for Owen’s Gift, a charity started by a mom whose son suffered from the same condition my daughter Psalm did. Owen’s Gift provides clothes, blankets, hats, and booties for babies who are born too early or with a fatal condition and stillborn babies.

There are a large number of charity patterns out there. This one in particular is meant to go with Myshelle Cole’s Burial Pants. They are made with the same size hook and yarn and the same stitch (HDC) and are kept simple to be quick and more readily acceptable for baby boys. They tie at the back neck but are otherwise open on the back for ease of dressing.
