This is a preeemie cocoon with an open flap. The bottom is 4-5” and it is about 10 1/2” tall. You can easily increase the size by adding more rounds.

I used an 8.5 oz skein of Bernat Baby Sport and made six cocoons with it in the pattern size. I used sport yarn so it would be warm but not so heavy on a preemie.

Special stitch used is the standing double crochet.
