Notes to make knitting easier:
Supplies:
2–3 oz. Worsted weight yarn, #7 or #8 knitting needles
Gauge: 4.5 sts = 1” 6 Rows = 1”
Preemie 12” Finished chest (2.5-4 lbs)
Newborn 16” Finished chest (5-8 lbs) directions, numbers are in parenthesis ( )
Saque is made in one piece beginning with back, then adding stitches for each sleeve. Center stitches are bound off for back neck. Neck stitches are returned in subsequent rows with right front knitted first, then left front. Front edges and sleeve edges are worked in 5 garter stitches
