This pattern is for a premature baby cardigan and booties set.

Using any double knitting weight yarn. Pattern uses approximately 2/3rds of a 100g ball of DK yarn. (I have used Stylecraft and King Cole baby yarns)

Cardigan is knitted from the bottom up with divisions to insert the sleeves which are knitted separately and sewn in.

Approximate sizes:

Sweater/Cardigan:
6.5 inches (16cms) wide with item laying flat.
7 inches (18cms) long from hem to neck edge.
4 inches (10cms) sleeves from underarm to cuff.

Booties:
2.5 inches (6cms) long across sole.
2.5 inches (6cms) tall from base to top of cuff.
