Prehistoric Cave Painting: Standing Bison
From book: The creators of these cave paintings, c. 1350 BC, believed that through the very act of portrayal, the strength of the animals depicted would be transfered to the hunters who gazed at them.
The bison has been interpreted with chunky yarn in earthy colors. Simple embroidered black lines represent the cracks in the cave walls.
