I have tried over the last year or so to make a buttoned shoulder body warmer / vest following a pattern, but have not always been happy with the results. I have recently spoke to a nurse who works with small babies she said unfortunately lots of body warmers that are received in the hospital she works at have to be disposed of as the armhole space is just too small. I didn’t want us to make these for them to be disposed of therefore with her help of size I have designed this pattern.
