I wanted to use my LK150 to help with hats for premature babies, which are needed in a range of sizes. I have included detailed written instructions so a beginner to machine knitting could do these, but I have also just included size charts with stitches/rows for those just looking for different sizes.

Any soft DK yarn is suitable for these hats. I have included sizes for babies of 2lbs, 2 - 4 lbs, 4 - 5 lbs, 6 lbs and newborn.

The smallest hat takes less than 10g of yarn, the largest 25g so ideal projects to use up your yarn.
