Premonition – that indefinable feeling that you just know something before it happens. Premonition was designed after so many people asked for a stole using the ‘feather and fan’ pattern used in both New Beginnings and As You Wish and here you are, beaded and luxurious – I guess we all knew we were not finished with that particular stitch pattern!

This can really be whatever you want it to be – a stole, a wrap, even a blanket. Here we have a wonderfully adaptable pattern, shown here as a stole in the most fabulous Fyberspates Faery Wings.

The wonderful versatility of this shawl means that by changing the yarn the stole could take on a completely different look - linen for a summer wrap, bulky yarn for a winter hug, cobweb silk for a slinky stole … the options are many! Do remember that by changing your yarn yardage, beads and needle requirements will vary.

The pattern has been written so that it is very simple to decrease the number of stitches cast on to make a scarf or even cast on more stitches to create a blanket. The beads (I used about 250 for the grey stole/scarf shown) add sparkle and a touch of glamour but could easily be omitted for a more subtle finish.

The pattern contains full written instructions and charts and is an exclusive pattern in the Close to You Collection; a collection of five patterns, three available individually and two exclusive.
