Prerogative
Please don’t ask if I prefer knitting over crochet. Both have huge positive benefits and results. Toss in Tunisian Crochet and there are three stitch genres to from which to choose. Knit? Crochet? Tunisian Crochet? The answer is YES!
Prerogative combines all three techniques into a generous wrap. The fabric has an obvious right/public side with stitches chosen to have a pleasing textural B side. All of the stitches in Prerogative are rated beginner or advanced beginner. The most complicated part is transitioning between knit & Tunisian crochet. Double increases at the beginning of some rows result in a slight curve that curls around the neck.
About Gauge: The goal is to have the gauge of the knit sections and Tunisian sections be as close to the same as possible. Stitch gauge matters way more than row gauge.
Stitch gauge of 21 - 24 in 4” will be successful.
Row gauge should end up the same - or almost the same - as your stitch gauge.
