Update 12/9/14- After a few weeks of wearing these mittens, I would recommend doing the wrist ribbing 1-2 needle sizes smaller to ensure a snug fit after a bit of stretching from daily use.*

I was having a hard time finding a mitten pattern that fit my 3 1/2 year old just right, so I started from scratch and came up with this one.

This is a simple mitten pattern using any old worsted weight yarn you have laying around (did someone say “stash buster”?!). These can be easily customized by adding stripes, buttons, or whatever your little one might have in mind.

This is my first pattern here on Ravelry, so if there are any mistakes, please let me know, and I’ll make it right!
