This family Beanie has a 1x1 rib brim then is worked in a very effective mock cable stitch. It is worked in Kilcarra Tweed yarn, which is a 12ply.

Pattern sizes: Age 2-5 yrs, 6-10 yrs, Teen, Lady and Man.

To fit head: 52 (54-55-56-59) cm 20½ (21¼-21¾-22-23) ins.

Yarn required: 1 (2-2-2-2) balls Knoll Kilcarra Tweed, 50g balls@80m.

Needles required: A pair of 5.00mm UK 6, US 8 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 16 sts and 23 rows to 10cm 4 ins over stocking st, using 5.00mm needles.
