Materials:
5.00mm(U.S H/8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
Aran(worsted weight) yarn. I used Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran - Colour Racing Green (227). See chart below for approximately how much yarn you will need.
sew on snaps, I would buy these after the right side edging is completed. I used one button per petal stitch. I used 8.

15 stitches/12 rows= 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) square in half double crochet

sp- space
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet

hdc- half double crochet
hdc2tog- half double crochet two stitches together
PSM-place stitch marker
RM- remove stitch marker
RS- right side of the jacket
WS- wrong side of the jacket
p-st- petal stitch; hdc/dc/tr/tr/dc/hdc

This jacket is designed with a positive ease of 30-45cm/12-18in. Stitches are added along the arm seam to create the swing effect. Arms are designed to be quite fitted to counter the swing in the jacket.
