This is the worsted weight version of the Pretty Chilly Hat, originally written for sport weight.

The hat often appears to be too narrow and too long while knitting. The pattern essentially ribs the hat the whole way up, so it’s narrow. Part of the body of the hat becomes part of the top of the hat, so it looks like there are too many repeats until you are done and try it on.
