This pocket shawl is a simple yet pretty design that allows the colour choices you make highlight each other. The idea is to pick some pretty contrasting colours like a variegated yarn and a contrasting plain colour or you can just choose 2 plain that will compliment each other. Really the interpretation is entirely up to you. The fabric this pattern creates is so scrumptious to wrap yourself in you will want to have it with you always on those cold and chilly days and nights.

It’s amazing how just a few simple stitches can create such a lovely texture. You can make this as long or as wide as you like, therefore, your finished piece could even be a blanket or a scarf….the options are only limited to your imagination.

So really it is a “Pretty Easy” pattern for creating your favourite piece. I hope you enjoy the way this simplistic design can transform 2 colours into something of beauty.

Skill Level: Beginner

Finished Size: Approximately 160cm long x 46cm wide not including tassels.

Yarn Requirements: Any 8 ply yarn is suitable. You can do a chunkier version but you will need thicker yarn and larger hooks. Or you could do a finer version with a 4 ply and create a softer shawl that drapes around you.

The pattern is written using US terms and UK Terms.
