Pretty-in-Plastic Placemats (Knit)
Placemats. Plastic placemats. Pretty plastic placemats. That may not sound exciting, but really, placemats are great for lots of things. Use them for: for painting and making art on, protecting your table from getting dirty, and eating on while camping. Lastly, because they’re rectangles, sew them together to make bags, table runners, and more. Ones made with plastic yarn are handy because they can be washed off in a sprinkler as you water your lawn to conserve water. They are also more durable. Excited now?
In the book this is published in (Koselig vol. 1: Kimberley), there are instructions on how to make the recycled grocery bag yarn.
