What’s prettier than pleats?

This sweet pleated bag can be whipped up in just a few evenings. It features a stunning swooping round bottom, however, NO short rows are used. Just plain ol’ lovely garter. With the exception of the handles, it’s all knitted flat using the simplest of increases and decreases.
This is a perfect pattern for the either the beginner or the expert.

You’ll need:
-Worsted weight yarn
-Size 6 (4.0 mm) circular needle in a 24 inch and 47 inch length
-Two stitch markers
-Basic knitting knowledge: knit, purl, pick up, increase (make 1), decrease (knit two together)

This bag measures 25 inches by 15 inches.
