Pretty Kitty
Pretty Kitty is a simple, feminine hat that knits up quickly. Designed for both toddlers and adults, any worsted-weight yarn that feels good on the skin works well. It starts with a very stretchy cast-on, followed by a twisted rib brim.
The delicate eyelet pattern is easy to remember, and cute ears top off the hat. On the toddler, the ears are delicate, but on the adult size they are much more pronounced - make no mistake, Mama hears everything!
I used solid yarns in the pattern, but go ahead and add some flair by using a wild variegated yarn to show off your personality.
Or make it pink…because…well, you know…
Additionally, this pattern comes with a tasty treat! I am combining my love of all things wooly and all things tasty on my blog and in my designs. With this pattern, comes a recipe for my Chocolate Rum Bites - rich, chewy chocolate cookies, covered in a sprinkling of coconut flakes for added texture.
Enjoy!
