Pretty Little Flower Bonnet
Flower bonnet
For newborn size / For 0-3m size / For 3-6m size / For 6-12m size / For 12-24m size
Gauge 4 in / 10cm – 21 stitch
this is a beginner friendly knitting pattern
You will need a skein of DK / light worsted yarn for the main part of the bonnet and about 1/8th of a skein for the flower lace detail.
Next, you will need knitting needles to obtain the gauge. Since this bonnet is knit flat, you can use any knitting needles you like. I prefer using ether long circulars, or long straight “afghan” knitting
needles.
Also you will need a scrap yarn or two stitch holders and a darning needle to weave in ends.
Optional – a cabling needle.
I have tried to write down the pattern as easy as possible, and made many photos along the way to explain what might need some extra explaining – or just so you would have something to take a look at and to know what it should look like.
*** PLEASE NOTE – YOU ARE ALLOWED (AND ENCOURAGED) TO SELL ANY FINISHED ITEMS YOU MAKE USING ANY OF MY PATTERNS. I will be updating all the patterns to have it stated there as well.
