This pattern includes instructions in US terminology for two options:

1. Traditional Beanie style (closed top)
2. Messy Bun style: a trendy style that has a hole at the very top of the hat to allow you to wear your hair up in either a bun or pony tail. These instructions also cover adding an elastic band option to the opening.

This pattern is rated advanced beginner and you will need to be familiar with crocheting in the third loop, or Camel Crocheting. A photo diagram is included to clarify some steps.

Instructions are for completing a teen/adult size hat that accommodates a head circumference of approximately 19”-23”.

Finished hat measures approximately 18” in circumference and 7.5” in height.
