This pattern features basic stitches, and is written in a way I hope even beginners can understand and enjoy.

Size:
Body of purse is 8” wide and has a height of 7”. Strap length depends on desired size but follows sizing for 22” long for crossbody or shoulder use.

Gauge:
7 rows and 9 hdc=3 inches

Materials:
5.5 mm hook.
Cotton yarn works very well for durability and keeping it clean. With that said, worsted weight acrylic or other fibers will also work. I used Peaches & Creme 100% Cotton in Bright Pink
Tapestry or yarn needle for weaving in ends and sewing on parts
Stitch marker (you can even use a scrap of yarn or a hair clip as a stitch marker)
4 Princess Buttons or 4 buttons of choice. I used 4 Disney Princess Shank buttons found at Hobby Lobby. There are a variety of styles including Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, Minnie and Mickey, etc.
