Pretzal Headz Camel
Buttercup the Camel is part of my Pretzal headz Amigurumi patterns.
All my Pretzal headz patterns are made using a unique head to body joining method.
They are worked from the head down, with the limbs easily attached/sewn on after the body is made and stuffed.
This pattern is written in US terms and gives step by step instructions to each level of the pattern, along with a stitch abbreviation guide.
You will need a 2.5mm crochet hook
Images are provided when required to prompt and help you to understand a more challenging aspect of the pattern.
This Camel pattern has some finer points to the pattern, making it a bit tricker than other Pretzal headz patterns. It therefore has quite a few photo tutorial points to help you through these more complex sections. These sections are not difficult to do, but just need a visual prompt so the instructions are fully understood.
The final Camel sits unaided and is approx 23 cm in height (if you use the recommend yarn as suggested in the pattern.
Please feel free to use any yarn you prefer when making your Amigurumi.
I prefer to use cotton yarn to give the creation a better shape in the long term, as DK can tend to stretch and warp.
