This beanie pattern was inspired by the coming Oktoberfest and other Bavarian festivals.
It uses the two-color cast-on for which I included a picture tutorial.
The beanie has a lovely two-colored ribbing, a tiny Bavarian like peerie pattern in blue and white and an allover Pretzel pattern. At the top is a Edelweiss-like star in blue and white.

As the pattern has at most two colors in one round and is easy to remember it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.

Note: for the cast-on you need 2.75 mm needle size and for the top a set of double pointed needles size 3.00 mm.

Das Oktoberfest und andere Bayerische Feste stehen vor der Tür und haben mich auf diese witzige Mützenidee gebracht.

Die Mütze hat so viele Bretzeln, dass ich sie kaum zählen kann!
Die einfache blau-weisse Minibordüre und der blau-weiss gestreifte Bund passen perfekt dazu.
Obendrauf ist ein stylisiertes Edelweiss in blau und weiss.
