These mittens are thick and warm! You can use any DK weight wool yarn. The pattern is written so that you could adjust the sizing for a custom fit. Emma’s Yarn has these colors in the small skeins so for the smaller sizes you can use the small so you don’t have to buy a whole big skein.

Sizes 2-4 (4-6, 6-8, 8-12, small adult, med adult, lg adult)

Emma’s Yarn Simply Spectacular DK:
1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins Freshly Cut
May need an extra small skein for the 8-12 size, and could possibly sub a small for the 2nd skein for size small adult.

1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3) small skeins Foxy Lady
For the cost effectiveness, may still want to get a full skein.

5mm and 4 mm hook.
